Camp Shekinah

** Essential Covid-19 Camp Changes**

Camp will still go on as a DAY CAMP at DIFFERENT LOCATIONS!! Camp Shekinah will look a little different this year as we are prohibited from the province to do overnight camp and the property at Moose Lake we have rented for the past 15 years will not be available to us this summer.    The plan right now is we will be operating a day camp at about 50% our normal capacity which will allow us to be in line with the province’s day camp restrictions of a 50 person ‘cohort’.  Jr camp will be held at Landry Lake Ranch on Aug 10-14 from 9am-5pm and Teen camp will be held at Moose Lake Pentecostal Camp on Aug 17-21 from 9am-8pm.  For more information, please read our FAQ's.

Jr. Camp (entering Grades 4-7) - Aug 10-14    ~  Closed
Teen Camp (entering Grades 8-12) - Aug 17-21  ~    Closed

WHO ARE WE?

Camp Shekinah is an overnight camp where children come to spend the week and have a great time together!  We spend our days playing team games, swimming, going to chapel time, visiting the Snack Shack, learning new skills like canoeing or leatherwork, enjoying awesome food, working together with chores, having an evening snack and campfire, having some free time, and making good friends! We sleep in cabins with carefully screened and trained Cabin Leaders, and often stay up a little later than we should!

Our main objective with this camp is to demonstrate and teach kids that the same God who created them also loves them and desires a personal relationship with them. Our church motto is "To Know Christ and to Make Him Known" and that is what our camp team lives by. We want kids to know Jesus!
